The Tractor House

The Tractor House, Manor Farm Holiday Cottages, north Norfolk

Sleeps 8 (4 bedrooms)

This characterful cottage with its warm brick and flint exterior walls once housed the farm’s tractors – hence its name. The Tractor House was originally a turnip store but when tractors first arrived it was where the family kept them and had their workshop and tool shed. Eventually, the tractors used on the farm became so big they were unable to fit inside!

Today, the spacious, comfortable house provides luxurious accommodation for up to eight guests.

Accommodation

The Tractor House has the same high-standard finish as all the other cottages.  There are exposed flint walls and old beams have been retained to give plenty of character to this property. The accommodation is mostly on one level but has a mezzanine bedroom (king size bed) and en suite shower room above the living area.  On the ground floor there is the sitting/dining area with a  separate well equipped  kitchen next door.  Further along the corridor you will find one bedroom with king sized bed and en suite bathroom.  A second bedroom with twin beds and a third with bunk beds.  There is also a separate shower room.

With cream walls, well-placed windows and wooden flooring, The Tractor House is light and welcoming and, thanks to full central heating, always comfortably warm.

Adding to its appeal are Kerri’s Pine furniture – made locally at Reepham, kitchen appliances (Cooker, Hob, Dishwasher and Microwave) by Bosch, heated stainless steel towel rails, and a Sony television with Freeview and a DVD player.

Outside, a sheltered garden is an absolute suntrap – ideal for meals al fresco or simply enjoying the view. Inside, books, children’s toys and DVDs have been provided.

There is a shared laundry room close by with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron and ironing board.

One well behaved dog is welcome.

"Just splendid, such a gift thank you. Beautifully looked after, warm and cosy – makes for a wonderfully relaxed family holiday.

We have been struck by the generosity and hospitality of the owners who (to be honest), have gone far beyond the call of duty to make us feel at home and welcomed us. We will always be grateful."
- The Theos
"Ideal location to family in both Cromer and Sheringham. Super comfortable accommodation and the barns are just so lovely, warm and welcoming.

"This is our third stay at Manor Farm and we have loved every single minute. So lucky with the weather again, beach walks every day and not had to use the car. The cottage has everything we have needed for our stay and it is going to be a struggle to go home.

Thank you for a lovely stay"
- The Arnold Family

"Our fourth visit to Manor Farm and second time in The Old Pigsty. Nice chilled out week, plenty of walks on the beach with the dog and walks to and from Cromer.

Cottage is fab as always, we love the farm, the village and the county! We’ll be back! Make sure to use the village butcher – he’s well worth a visit!"
- Carla, Steve, Eleanor and Rowley pug
"Fab time here with friends. Lovely cottage, it’s clean, comfortable and well equipped. Thank you, it was great to be able to bring our four legged friends."
The Angelouis and Longdens
"We hardly used the car, the walk into Cromer (in particular) is easy and can be done along the beach depending on the tide; or do the circular walk to West Runton and return via the cliff top or beach (again, tide dependent). We’ve spent most of the last 20 years coming to Norfolk (at least twice a year), so it’s safe to say we’ll be back!"

- The Robinsons (Leicestershire) and Rowley the Pug
"Our third stay at Manor Farm and a third different cottage - we love them all! So well furnished, equipped - and the dog loved the underfloor heating!"
- The Robinsons (Leicestershire) and Rowley the Pug
